Gripping story - stayed up much too late to watch it to the end - couldn't turn it off,
even temporarily!

A story with a difference- it is great to have something a little unusual. I would recommend anyone to give it a shot. Great story with a bit of Romance.

Loved the movie, great story line, different and Reece was wonderful. She really can act. A good 'feel good' movie and some stretching from Patterson.
Give it a go, but read the book, its brilliant.

This is an awesome movie - Not only a chic flick, it has a little bit of everything in it. I thoroughly enjoyed it every time I watched it.

It's very watchable, despite the wooden and rather unconvincing acting from Pattinson. Waltz on the other hand is brilliant and Witherspoon fits the bill.

A good weekend movie, but verging on a chick flick. I watched it but the boys left half way through.

I liked the book and thought the movie was done really well. Loved Rob but thought Reece was a little ordinary. Good movie even my husband stayed awake for it!

A bit predictable but none the less, a very entertaining tale. A bit of classic "good vs evil", "happy ending" with a realistic view of circus life. "Elephants" lived up to expectations - a good watch.

I was really looking forward to this movie after hearing so much about it. Sad to say I was disappointed: the acting left a lot to be desired, Pattinson and Witherspoon seemed to be just going through the motions with no emotional attachment to their characters, the dastardly husband was more huff than puff and the storyline was weak. I loved Hal Holbrook in his meagre role; to me he was the best thing about the whole ordeal, apart from the elephant.

I read the book and thought the movie was brillantly done and did the book justice, I
thoroughly enjoyed the movie.

Water For Elephants was an amazing movie, its touching - had me wanting more. It kind of reminds me of the notebook, A+ ALL ROUND :)

Beautiful story. The star is undoubtedly Rosie the elephant. What a beautiful creature.

The good guy gets the girl, the baddie gets the just desserts. Fairly stock standard Hollywood fare, but tasty enough.

A fairly predictable story line, but nevertheless it flowed quite well. The animals were enjoyable to watch. Was quite well acted.

Beautiful love story not to be missed! This is not only about love between two people but also about love of animals, the world of circus and about loyalty and
devotion to friends. Very enchanting and delightful film!

A bit Hollywood but lots of animals made it worthwhile. Liked the actors. Won't watch it again though but might look at another circus film.
